Paige Shively

Doctor of Psychology

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Paige Shively is a licensed professional counselor and earned a Doctoral degree in Psychology from Northwest University, located in the greater Seattle WA area. Paige has diverse clinical experience and has worked in private practices, schools, healthcare settings, and outpatient treatment programs all over the country. In addition, she was instrumental in opening Ohio’s first recovery high school for students with substance use disorders and served as the school’s first Principal and Executive Director. Currently, she serves as an adjunct professor at Liberty University. 

 

She completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship that focused on treatment of Autism and developmental disorders in children. Presently, she enjoys working with families to cultivate strong alliances, nurture healthy relationships, and develop tools to cope with presenting concerns. Her passion for her clients and students is continually renewed when they gain insight, achieve new skills, and experience personal growth.

 

In her free time, she enjoys attending Ohio State football games, spending time with her children, reading, and cooking with her husband. Some of her favorite books include:

Hunt, Gather, Parent by Doucleff, Raising Positive Kids in a Negative World by Ziglar, The Garden by Jon Gordon, along with Anne of Green Gables, Chronicles of Narnia, and the Harry Potter series!

Dr. Shively offers evaluations and testing for some learning disabilities and ADHD.
