Recognizing members of our community face many similar challenged, Foundations Family Counseling how decided to bring folks together to share and grow in a safe and common format. Guided by compassionate professionals, these groups provide safety and respect for members to navigate a healthier way of being.
Women's Empowerment Group

Sarah Helgeson, LPCC-S
This group is geared toward women, ages 18-60, who wish for a space to explore their identities in an unfamiliar season of their life. Explore deeper parts of ones' self, develop a stronger sense of identity, explore taking risks and gaining a sense of strength. Find dreams worth pursuing and work through emotional blocks to get there.
Male Teen Depression Goup

David Root, LISW-S
This group provides a chance for guys with depression to share their story and to be understood by others with similar struggles. Learn new coping skills, gain confidence, and improve thinking.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Group (Accelerated)

Paige Stewart, Psy.D., LPC
This group will help build skills you need to develop the life you want. If struggle with chronic stressors and find yourself often in a crisis or have persistent relationship issues, this group can help you build the life you want!
Skills include Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation, and Distress Tolerance, all of which are critical for healthy happy relationships.
