About Casey
Casey has been practicing for 6 years and has held his LISW license for about 5 years. Casey has a strong background in working with dialectical behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Casey specializes in working with strong emotions like deep anxiety or feelings of worthlessness. His style is very approachable and connective, focusing on helping the client feel truly “seen” while exploring accessible solutions. “I like to slow down and validate emotions while nevertheless trying to approach problems differently.” He likes to keep things conversational, fun and engaging to help the client get the most out of their sessions.
When asked what his favorite part is about being a counselor, Casey says, “I like watching people stop hating parts of themselves that they’ve struggled with.”
Casey feels comfortable with a sizable spectrum of ages and presenting issues, but feels particularly drawn to work with clients with strong emotions like anxiety and rejection, LGBTQ clients, and any other cases where the client may feel especially hopeless. He also has helped clients dealing with chronic suicidal thoughts and self-harm.
For fun, Casey likes to work out, play tabletop role-play games, and spend time with friends and family.
