About Sarah
Sarah works at the Dublin office. She has been practicing as a clinician for 8 years and serves as the Community Outreach Manager for Foundations.
Sarah has extensive training and experience working with addiction and highly traumatized populations and specializes in these areas and in women’s issues. She describes her counseling style as “warm, engaging, conversational, and authentic.” She believes wholeheartedly in the “know thyself” maxim as a pathway to healing and is “more likely to ask good questions than give advice.”
Good counseling to Sarah is “tailored to the unique individual sitting in front of me. My abilities as a therapist allow me to come alongside you and learn YOU well: the shifting, changing, expanding human being that you are, and meet you in all of those spaces. I strive to listen humbly and learn from you, leading you to think critically and ask yourself important questions that will help you develop a deeper, more compassionate and curious relationship with yourself and the people you love.”
Sarah is trained as a trauma therapist, utilizing EMDR therapy and IFS therapy as central therapeutic interventions. She also helps to relieve trauma symptoms holistically by helping clients connect the mind to body through somatic approaches. She is trained as a trauma-informed yoga facilitator and can provide tailored yoga facilitation for those it may apply to. She is also passionate about facilitating group therapy.
Sarah has a background as a jazz vocalist and loves to make music with her husband and two sons. She enjoys riding motorcycles, salsa dancing, reading and writing poetry, and adventuring in nature.
