Zaida has been practicing as a clinician for 3 years. She specializes in treating OCD, behavioral issues with children, and mood and anxiety disorders. Her “sweet spot” is working with kids ages 7-10 and clients in their 40’s, but she also feels comfortable treating children and adults in a broader age range.
Zaida utilizes modalities like Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, and Inference Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD and social anxiety.
Zaida is a pro at teaching clients new skills that will help get them where they want to be. She balances being assertive with bringing things into the light with compassion and kindness so it’s digestible and authentic.
Working with Zaida is like spending time with a modern-day guide on a hero’s journey: she’s a trustworthy source to provide support, helpful advice and guidance on the journey ahead. When she works with children, she is a natural at creating a space that feels fun and engaging for them to work through maladaptive behaviors and learn new skills.
In her free time, Zaida enjoys spending time with family, traveling, watching her son play sports, reading, getting some quality alone time, and exploring fashion.
